Tips... on how to login

1. Never access our website by clicking on links. Always type out the full address www.millenniumbim.co.mz;

2. Don't trust emails that have supposedly been sent by Millennium bim and request personal and/or confidential details such as your passwords, taxpayer no., confirmation key, mobile phone no., etc. We never ask our clients to give out this type of information by email;

3. Whenever you access your Millennium bim bank accounts online, always check that the address starts with https://ib.millenniumbim.co.mz/en/login and that there is a padlock on the bottom corner of the page;

4. Never access sites with personal or confidential/sensitive information or that allows banking transactions, through links. Always type out the full address of the site you want to access in the address bar;

5. If in doubt, check the source of the Digital Certificate (double-click on the padlock) is indeed Millennium bim.

6. Don't use obvious password/multichannel (e.g. 12345; 111111; date of birth; etc.) to log in to Millennium bim. From time to time, change your multichannel code in the “Customize" option of menu “M” on the top bar of the page;

7. Set your personal Access Codes (Username and password/multichannel) for the Millennium bim website and don't use them for other websites;

8. Millennium bim will never ask you to enter more than 3 digits from your multichannel code. Any such request is a fraud attempt and should be reported through: please call 800 3500; 21 350 035 (From outside Mozambique please call +258 21 350035), 24x7 Helpdesk. Never give others the authorization codes you've received by text message or via Token/card;

9. If you suspect that your Millennium bim Access Codes has been compromised, then don't think twice: change them, or call us and ask us to block them;

10. Always consult our newsletters and the security information we provide.
