Degree in Economics from the University of Coimbra, graduated in Public Finance Management and on strengthening fiscal institutions and fiscal risk management – IMF Institute, graduated in State Protocol and Project Management.
She started her professional career as an Intern at the Lisbon and Porto Stock Exchanges in 2001. From 2001 to 2002 she worked as a Financial Settlement Technician at Interbolsa (Central de Valores Mobiliários) in Porto, Portugal. She also worked as a Public Debt Technician in the National Directorate of the Treasury of the Ministry of Planning and Finance of Mozambique.
She held the positions of Deputy National Budget Director of the Ministry of Finance of Mozambique from 2010 to 2012. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mozambique Stock Exchange, with executive powers for the management of the institution and development of the stock exchange, from 2012 to 2016 . Director of the Office of the Wife of the President of the Republic – Presidency of the Republic of Mozambique, in the context of supporting the activities of the First Lady, from 2016 to 2017. She also held the position of National Director of the Risk Management Office of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Mozambique from 2018 to 2019.

Currently Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee, Member of the Appointments and Remunerations and Risk Assessment Committees of BIM – Banco Internacional de Moçambique, SA He began his career in the financial sector as a financial services consultant at Banco Português do Atlântico, Banco Nacional Ultramarino, Banco Espírito Santo, Manufactures Hannover Trust from 1982 to 1989. In 1989 he was responsible for the areas of risk control, ALM, research on financial markets and capital markets in the Financial Department – BPA, SA He was Advisor to the Chairman of the Board National Plan in 1990. Member of the Board of Directors of Corretora Atlântico - Soc. Financeira de Corretagem SA and of Servimédia – Sociedade Mediadora de Capitals, SA and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Servimédia - Sociedade Corretora SA in 1993. Responsible for the Asset Management Department and Liabilities of BPA in 1995, and of BCP in 1998. Degree in Agronomy, Guidance in Rural Engineering from Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM), Master in Rural Development from the same University and Master in Oil and Gas Business Management at Instituto Superior de Ciências e Tecnologias de Moçambique (ISCTEM).
He started his professional career at Action Aid, as Senior Supervisor of the Livestock Repopulation Project, in a cash credit model, in Pebane and Maganja da Costa in Zambézia, from 1999 to 2000. At World Vision he held the positions of: (i) Senior Assistant for Agriculture in the Agriculture and Natural Resources Management Program in Nampula (2000 - 2001); and (ii) Counterpart of the Group Development Specialist in the Food Security and Livelihoods Program (OVATA) in Zambézia (2001 - 2003) as well as (iii) Coordinator of the OVATA Program in the district of Namarroi. At Oxfam GB he held the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for the development program in Niassa (2002 - 2004) and was later appointed General Coordinator of the Oxfam GB Program in Niassa (2004 - 2005). From 2005 to 2007 at CUSO Mozambique, he was Program Assistant, where he provided direct advice to the Country Representative in the entire National Program, in the components of institutional capacity building, microfinance and social programs. From 2007 to 2014, he held various positions at the Foundation for Community Development (FDC) from the position of Manager of the Food and Nutrition Security Area (2007 - 2008); Planning, Research and Evaluation Manager (2008 - 2009) up to the position of Program Director, leading all the foundation's integrated programs (2009 - 2014). From 2014 to date, he joined the Instituto de Gestão das Participações do Estado (IGEPE), as Director of Investments, having been appointed at the end of his second year of service to the position of Director of Control of Affiliates, an area that oversees the planning, supervision and control of all companies in the state business sector. In addition to this role, he is a Non-Executive Director at Millennium BIM, Ifloma and Hotel Cardoso, representing the State. He was a member of the Extinction Committee of Maputo Sul, E.P, and was Chairman of the Investment, Risk and Debt Management Committee of EDM, E.P. He is currently (i) a member of the Risk Assessment Committee of Millennium BIM; (ii) member of the Investment, Risk and Debt Management Committee of EDM, E.P and Chairman of the Liquidation Committee of EMEM, S.A.
