Postgraduate in Finance, specializing in Financial Institutions, Degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of Porto, Master's in African Studies/Management at ISTEC and applied to ongoing training.
Currently the president of the Board of Directors of Millennium bim (Mozambique), since 2024, and a member of the bank's Executive Committee, Moisés Jorge embarked on his career in 1991 at FDO - Empresa de Construção Civil in Braga. In 1993, he moved to Gomes do Monte Construções - Póvoa de Varzim.
Joined the Millennium BCP Group in 1994 in Portugal, working in several departments in preparation for the installation and start-up of Millennium bim. In Mozambique, he was the Client Manager (1995-1997), Commercial Director of Private Banking (1998 - 2000), Quality Director (2001), Quality Director and Recruitment and Training, Integration and Career Development Director (2001-2003). Between 2003 and 2006, he rejoined BCP in the Quality, Corporate, Private Banking and Operations Divisions.
Back to Mozambique, he served as Corporate Coordinating Director between 2006 and 2015, building solid relationships with corporate and institutional clients. Between 2015 and 2024, he joined the Board of Directors of Millennium bim, with main duties in the Corporate segment, Physical Security Department and Credit Recovery Department.

He holds a degree in economics from the Faculty of Economics of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FEUNL) and a postgraduate degree in Business from the Association for Higher Business Studies (AESE), in collaboration with IESE – Institute for Higher Business Studies at the University of Navarra.
He was CFO Director at Hidroeléctrica de Cahora Bassa (2003 - 2007), Executive Director - CFO at Caixa Geral de Depósitos, SA (2012 - 2016), Director (non-executive) at BCI - Banco Comercial de Moçambique, SA and President (non-executive) of the Board of Directors of Banco Caixa Geral, SA Spain (2013 - 2016). On 9 January 2017, he was co-opted by the Board of Directors to perform the duties of Member of the Board of Directors and Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee of Banco Comercial Português, SA, until the end of the mandate (2015/2017), having been reappointed in these positions on 30 May 2018 for the 2018/2021 term, from 17 July 2018 to 17 February 2020 he was Chairman of the Audit Committee of BIM and from 20 June 2017 to 2 November 2021 - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banque Privée BCP (Suisse) He is currently a Member of the Board of Directors and Member of the Remuneration and Welfare Board (reappointed on 03/24/2021), Chairman of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee, elected on ….. … of BIM - Banco Internacional de Moçambique, SA

Currently Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee, Member of the Appointments and Remunerations and Risk Assessment Committees of BIM – Banco Internacional de Moçambique, SA He began his career in the financial sector as a financial services consultant at Banco Português do Atlântico, Banco Nacional Ultramarino, Banco Espírito Santo, Manufactures Hannover Trust from 1982 to 1989. In 1989 he was responsible for the areas of risk control, ALM, research on financial markets and capital markets in the Financial Department – BPA, SA He was Advisor to the Chairman of the Board National Plan in 1990. Member of the Board of Directors of Corretora Atlântico - Soc. Financeira de Corretagem SA and of Servimédia – Sociedade Mediadora de Capitals, SA and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Servimédia - Sociedade Corretora SA in 1993. Responsible for the Asset Management Department and Liabilities of BPA in 1995, and of BCP in 1998. Responsible for the “Year 2000” project of the BCP Group in 1999 and for the design, development and launch creation of the banking website “cidadebcp” in 2000 at BCP, SA Coordinator of the Investment Products Unit – BCP, SA in 2002. Group Risk Officer of BCP, SA in 2003. Member of the Board and appointed Member of the EC of BCP, SA in 2015, responsible, among others, for the areas of risk and compliance, having been reappointed in these positions in 2018. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Banque Privée BCP (Switzerland) since 2018.
